Richmond, Virginia, home to my alma mater, Virginia Commonwealth University, is where I earned my B.F.A. in Fashion Illustration in 1985. I had the honor of studying under master-painter Luigi Wanvestraut and received my Italian accreditation from the Van Art Studio while living in Italy for four years. Throughout my artistic journey, I have also studied with renowned artists Daniel Green, Chris Saper, and Raymond Everett Kinstler at the Art Students League of New York.
I feel blessed to share my passion and talents for art with others. My lifelong dream is to bring the beauty and joy of art into our everyday lives while honoring the fundamental studies and disciplines that help shape successful artists. Through evolution, I continue to rediscover not only my work, but myself as an artist.
